Origin
Visiting Roussillon in 2000, Jean-Luc Thunevin discovers wonderful terroirs and is seduced by the region. At the same time, he meets Jean-Roger Calvet, a local winemaker.
They decide to buy a few hectares of vineyards together and they found the Domaine Thunevin-Calvet, located in Maury on beautiful terroirs of black schists.
In 2021 they visit the old coop in Maury and discovers the very old “foudre” of Maury Vin doux naturel. They therefore decided to taste these very rare wines from 1974 to 1990 and ended up bottling a few at a time to share with the world.
